About

Everyone should get an honest recollection of the fun :P, horrors 88|, and craziness >:XX of college life. Unfortunately, you often hear about the parties more than anything else. We are here to share our college life experiences and advice for current and incoming students into any public university. We want to provide shopping lists and recommendations for various aspects of college life, but even more so to help you find ways to better your experiences throughout "the best time of your life."

When we (Michael, my boyfriend, an engineering major who is very capable with the tech side, and I, Kelsey, an English major who happens to love writing and sharing advice that helps others) looked for things that we needed and other helpful advice, like shopping lists, it was incredibly difficult. It wasn't easy to find what we needed or to navigate the dozens of outdated websites. There was simply no single website that really gave it all in one. That is our goal.

---> If anyone is interested in helping to write for this blog please contact michael@brokemeetscollege.com, we are always looking for more diversity in our experience base.

This site is funded completely from our pockets, and believe me, as a student, those pockets are never full! Feel free to donate to our cause, every cent helps.

This website is great! Wish there had been something like this years ago when I was a freshman in college. It is a great way for family and friends to know how things are going with your college experience as well. Great way to keep in touch. I am sure this site will be a tremendous help and encouragement to those floundering to find their way.
Have a great year!

I really like the podcasts, but it is sometimes hard to hear you if you speak too quickly. Something about the sound quality may be making it harder to understand voices.
Maybe you can interview other students for your podcasts from different majors to see why they chose their field of study. This could help other students coming in who are undecided on a major.
